Cheers to 4 Years, Shannon!

Four years ago, Shannon Oudinot joined Oregon Outreach and we’re pretty sure she didn’t realize just how many things would eventually land on her desk.

While our academic team focuses on students, teaching and all things education, Shannon handles the business side. Payroll, HR, budgets, insurance…and approximately 900 other things that don’t have a job description.

Over the past four years, she’s helped Oregon Outreach through a lot of changes, challenges and more than a few “well, we’ll figure this out” moments. Much of her work happens behind the scenes, but it’s a big part of what keeps Oregon Outreach running so our academic team can focus on what they do best – supporting students.

When Shannon isn’t keeping Oregon Outreach running, you’ll find her planning a road trip, camping, spending time with her family, or volunteering with Girl Scouts. She also helps run the business side of her husband’s tie-dye passion project, because apparently managing one business isn’t enough. It turns out she really does enjoy being the person behind the scenes making sure everything actually works.

Four years in, Shannon has become an important part of the Oregon Outreach team and we’re incredibly grateful for everything she brings to the organization.

Thank you, Shannon for everything you do for Oregon Outreach!
